Contains a maximum of 50% tocopherols of which 10% is alpha-tocopherol.

This product is derived from highly refined soybeans.  Tocopherols are natural antioxidants and while alpha-tocopherol has the highest biological activity when it comes to product protection (stability to prevent oil oxidation or discolouration) a general mixture of tocopherols can perform just as well.  This makes our mixed tocopherols a great choice for boosting the shelf life of your formulation.

Protects oils against rancidity (oxidisation), thus giving longevity to products. Ideal for use in massage oils, creams, lotions & balms.

On the Skin: Cools and soothes the irritation of dry skin, and helps prevent and slow the signs of ageing. Smooths wrinkles.

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower Oil), gamma-Tocopherol, delta-Tocopherol, D-alpha-Tocopherol, beta-Tocopherol

Application: Vitamin E can be added into the oil phase of a formulation where it can work as a skincare active and an antioxidant to reduce the likelihood of oxidation of the formulation. Vitamin E is NOT a preservative but it can work to boost the stability of your product which in turn makes it less likely to come under micro attack.

Use Levels:  0.5-2% as supplied.
